History
The company was created in 1988 and was originally named "ATOUT VENT".
The activity began with the production of small wind turbine blades in
carbon. To face up to its growth in 1995 (orders, size of blades…), the
company opened a second plant in the north of France, at Douai (near Lille)
to manufacture blades of 21 and 32 meters for a german customer : Tacke
Windtechnik.
In 1996, "ATOUT VENT" became "ATV Composite" for its
name to correspond better with the field of its activities. Since june 1997
the firm is called "ATV Entreprise", and all activities have been
grouped together, on the site of Fuveau, in the Bouches-du-Rhônes, France.
Today, ATV offers a wide range of productrs and services in the field of
composite materials. Still present in the wind turbine blades, ATV is also
significantly active in sailing, industry, fabrics pre-impregnation and
transfer of technology . The size of blades currently proposed varies from
3 meters to 29 meters ( rotor with a diameter of 58m).
